Nala Shin, OD — is a Therapeutic Optometrist who manages diabetic eye care, cataract and LASIK co-management, dry eye management and other ocular diseases. Dr. Shin also specialized in fitting specialty contact lenses for patients with irregular corneas such as keratoconus. She graduated with honors at the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then pursued onto getting a Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston. Her year of externships were completed at the Mobile Eye Institute, La Nueva Casa Clinic, Multiple Sclerosis Eye Center and NSU campus. She loves pursuing her passion of optometry and also took part in an eye care mission trip to Central America. When she is not in the office she loves spending time with her family and her Dog, Teddy.
