John S. Kung, MD, FAAO, FICS
John S. Kung, MD, FAAO, FICS — is the Surgeon Director of the group. He has invented and licensed a surgical instrument — the Kung Guide — utilized by his fellow ophthalmologists performing vision correction surgery. He is an expert on laser eye surgery, PRK, LASIK, Astigmatism correction and excimer laser vision correction. He has trained extensively and regularly provides the latest treatments for cataracts, advanced intraocular lens implants, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration. He was selected by the New York Times as a “SuperDoctor” (top 5% in the NY area, nominated by other doctors) and by Castle Connolly as a “Top Doctor”, one of the few to be on both lists.
Joshua C. Yu, MD, FAAO
Joshua C. Yu, MD, FAAO — joined the practice in 2010. He is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and Cornea Specialist who offers the latest treatment modalities in laser vision correction (LASIK and PRK), cataract surgery, and cornea diseases. He participated as the investigator in numerous research studies and clinical trials. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at many national ophthalmic conferences on cataract surgery and cornea diseases.
Daniel F. Arnoldi, OD
Daniel F. Arnoldi, OD — earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University and his Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 2002, where he graduated with honors. He also completed externship training at Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston as well as the VA Hospital in Lowell, MA, where he received specialized training in a variety of ocular diseases and surgeries.
Janna Chen, OD
Janna Chen, OD — earned her bachelor degree from State University of New York at Binghamton and has received her Doctorate of Optometry from the State University of New York, College of Optometry. Dr. Chen has received extensive training in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease and disorders of the visual system.
Avi D. Yehudai, OD
Avi D. Yehudai, OD – earned his Bachelor of Science degree from The College of New Jersey and his Doctorate of Optometry from the State University of New York, College of Optometry. He completed clinical externships through the VA system in NJ and the University Eye Center in NYC. He received training in ocular disease, surgical co-management, as well as specialty contact lenses for patients with keratoconus and other corneal conditions. He is a recipient of the Gas Permeable Lens Institute’s award for Clinical Excellence in specialty contact lenses. He volunteers at the Special Olympics Opening Eyes vision screenings in NJ and also took part in several eye care mission trips to Central America.
