Kung Eye Center hosted its first optometric CE of 2019 at the Mansion Grand Restuarant in Staten Island, NY on February 19th and February 24th in Edison NJ. These courses, which were COPE accredited for 3.5 CE credits through ARBO, discussed Refractive Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma/MIGS and an Update on Oral Meds.
The course on refractive cataract surgery focused on providing patients excellent vision at most distances following cataract surgery with a premium lens implant such as a toric, multifocal or accommodative IOL. The course also focused on patient selection for refractive cataract surgery.
The CE also discussed an update on oral Medications used in eye care and an update on glaucoma and MIGS, which discussed the latest devices including iStent Inject and OMNI, a device developed by Sight Sciences.
“It was so great to see so many familiar faces as well as new ones. We’re very excited about our rapidly expanding optometric program,” says Dr. Kung, Medical Director of Kung Eye Center.
